What does P2A00 mean?

P2A00 is a range/performance code for the upstream oxygen sensor on Bank 1. The engine control module (ECM) watches this sensor — sometimes called the air/fuel or O2 sensor 1 — to fine-tune the fuel mixture during closed-loop operation.
