Privacy Policy
Effective date: May 17, 2026
Last updated: May 17, 2026
AutoLogicTools (“AutoLogicTools,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) is owned and operated by Offshore Flow LLC. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect when you use autologictools.com, how we use that information, who we share it with, and the choices you have. By using the site, you agree to the practices described below.
1. Information we collect
Information you enter into the tools. When you use a calculator or the VIN decoder, you may type in information such as a Vehicle Identification Number (VIN), vehicle year, mileage, MPG, fuel price, loan amount, APR, repair type, tire size, and other planning inputs. We use this information only to return a result on the page you are viewing.
Cached VIN lookups. To reduce repeated calls to public vehicle data services, VIN lookup results may be cached in Firestore. Cached entries store the VIN and the decoded vehicle attributes returned by the public service. They do not store names, contact information, or anything else linking the VIN to a person.
Automatic technical information. When you visit the site, our hosting provider and analytics tools may automatically record standard technical information such as IP address, approximate location derived from IP, browser type and version, device type, operating system, referring URL, pages requested, and timestamps. This information helps us keep the site working, troubleshoot errors, and understand general traffic patterns.
Cookies and similar technologies. We and our third-party partners use cookies, web beacons, local storage, and similar technologies. See Section 4 for details.
We do not require user accounts to use the calculators or VIN decoder. We do not knowingly collect Social Security numbers, government identifiers, financial account numbers, or other sensitive personal information.
2. How we use information
We use the information we collect to:
- Run the calculators and VIN decoder and display results.
- Cache VIN lookups to keep the site fast and reduce load on public data services.
- Operate, maintain, secure, and improve the site.
- Detect, investigate, and prevent abuse, fraud, and technical problems.
- Measure aggregate traffic and content performance.
- Display advertising, including personalized advertising where permitted.
- Comply with legal obligations and enforce our Terms of Use.
3. Legal bases for processing (EU/UK users)
If you are in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, or another jurisdiction with similar laws, we rely on the following legal bases:
- Legitimate interests — operating the site, securing it against abuse, measuring traffic, and serving non-personalized advertising.
- Consent — for personalized advertising cookies, analytics cookies, and any other non-essential tracking. You can withdraw consent at any time using the cookie controls described in Section 4.
- Legal obligation — where we are required to retain or disclose information by law.
4. Cookies, advertising, and analytics
What cookies do. Cookies are small text files placed on your device that help a site remember your preferences, measure traffic, and serve advertising. Some cookies are necessary for the site to function. Others are optional and depend on your consent where required.
Google AdSense and third-party advertising. AutoLogicTools uses Google AdSense to display advertisements. Google is a third-party vendor that uses cookies, including the DART cookie, to serve ads based on a user’s prior visits to this site and other sites on the internet. Google’s use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads to users based on their visits to AutoLogicTools and other sites.
You can opt out of personalized advertising by Google by visiting Google Ads Settings. You can opt out of personalized advertising from many third-party vendors by visiting aboutads.info/choices (US) or youronlinechoices.eu (EU). Opting out does not stop all advertising — it stops personalization.
Other third-party vendors. In addition to Google, third-party vendors and ad networks may serve ads on AutoLogicTools and use cookies for measurement, fraud prevention, and ad serving. A current list of Google’s certified ad technology providers is available at Google’s advertising partners reference.
Analytics. We may use Google Analytics or a similar privacy-focused analytics tool to understand traffic patterns. Where required, analytics cookies are loaded only after consent.
Your cookie choices. You can refuse, restrict, or delete cookies through your browser settings. EU/UK and California visitors are shown a cookie banner that lets you accept, reject, or customize non-essential cookies. Blocking cookies may break some site features.
5. How we share information
We do not sell personal information for money. We share information only as described below:
- Service providers that host the site, cache VIN lookups, deliver advertising, run analytics, and provide security and abuse prevention. These providers are contractually limited to using information for the services they provide to us.
- Advertising partners, including Google and other ad networks that may set cookies on your device as described in Section 4.
- Legal disclosures when we believe disclosure is required by law, court order, or government request, or is necessary to protect our rights, users, or the public.
- Business transfers if Offshore Flow LLC is involved in a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, in which case information may be transferred subject to this Privacy Policy.
6. Data retention
We retain server logs and analytics data for as long as needed for security, troubleshooting, and reporting, typically no longer than 24 months. Cached VIN results may be retained indefinitely to keep the site fast, but you can request review or removal of a specific cached VIN by contacting us (see Section 11).
7. Your privacy rights
California residents (CCPA/CPRA). You have the right to know what categories of personal information we collect, request a copy of your personal information, request deletion of your personal information, correct inaccurate personal information, and opt out of any “sale” or “sharing” of personal information as those terms are defined under California law. We do not sell personal information for money. To the extent that the use of advertising cookies qualifies as “sharing” under California law, you can opt out using the cookie controls or the opt-out links in Section 4. We do not discriminate against users who exercise their rights.
EU/UK residents (GDPR/UK GDPR). You have the right to access, correct, delete, restrict, or object to the processing of your personal information, the right to data portability, and the right to withdraw consent at any time without affecting the lawfulness of prior processing. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.
How to exercise rights. Email support@autologictools.com with a description of your request. We may need to verify your identity before responding. We respond within the timeframes required by applicable law.
8. Children’s privacy
AutoLogicTools is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child under 13 has provided personal information through the site, please contact us and we will delete it.
9. Security
We use reasonable technical and organizational measures designed to protect information against loss, misuse, and unauthorized access. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
10. International data transfers
AutoLogicTools is operated from the United States. If you use the site from outside the United States, your information may be transferred to, stored in, and processed in the United States or other countries with different data protection laws. By using the site, you consent to these transfers where permitted by law.
11. Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will update the “Last updated” date at the top of this page. Material changes will be highlighted on the site. Continued use of AutoLogicTools after changes take effect means you accept the updated policy.
