What does P0225 mean?

Drive-by-wire throttle control has no mechanical link between the driver's foot and the throttle plate, so the entire system is built on redundancy. Rather than trusting one position signal, the control module reads several — commonly two at the accelerator pedal and two inside the throttle body — and refuses to act unless they agree. The letters 'A', 'B', and 'C' identify those separate channels. P0225 is the general circuit code for the third one.
