What does P0206 mean?

P0206 means the module found an electrical problem in the fuel injector control circuit for cylinder 6. The module supplies each injector with battery voltage on one side and switches its ground for a measured number of milliseconds, watching the circuit as it does; a mismatch between what it commanded and what it saw stores a code against that cylinder. "Circuit/Open" names an electrical condition rather than a component, and in practice the wiring fails more often than the injector.
